Project Overview

Luxury meets location at Northgate Crossing, a 300-unit transit-oriented multifamily development on a 20-acre site in northwest-suburban Wheeling, IL. Kinzie constructed nine three-story buildings—with 32 one- and two-bedroom apartments per building—as an initial phase of the development, as well as 12 three-bedroom townhomes that were added during a later phase. The development is certified LEED Silver. 

Amenities at Northgate Crossing, such as a modern fitness center, demonstration kitchen, and well-equipped business center, attract young professionals and corporate transferees for whom the rental community was ultimately designed. Residents are within walking distance from several retail centers and also near the I-294 and Milwaukee Avenue office corridors.
